Park Overview
A multi-use park with multi-use trails, contiguous to a Wildlife Management Area with no marked trails, on the northern edge of the Pinelands.
Trail Overview
There are seven "moderate" to "easy" blazed trailed ranging from 0.7 mile to 2.5 miles in Turkey Swamp Park totaling nine miles These are mostly on level pathways cutting through forests of pitch pine and oak. Use the Web Map link on this site for a park brochure and trail map.

Park Description
Turkey Swamp Park and Turkey Swamp Wildlife Management Area form a cluster of parks on the northern edge of the Pinelands. Part of the Monmouth County Park System, the 2,263-acre Turkey Swamp Park offers a variety of outdoor recreation activities. In addition to a campground, picnic facilities, and a 17-acre lake that offers boating and fishing opportunities [boat rentals are available], there are marked hiking trails.
Adjacent to the county park, Turkey Swamp WMA includes 3,972 acres of upland pine oak, woodlands, lowland and swampy areas.
