| Come visit our booth (and others) at the
Small Press Book Fair, Saturday March 24 from 10am to 6pm or Sunday
March 25 from 11am to 5pm at the General Society of Mechanics and
Tradesmen, 20 West 44th Street, NYC. Our booth will be on the second
floor.
The Small Press Book Fair is an annual celebration that calls
attention to the wonderful, diverse offerings of small presses. The
Book Fair is also one of the major events taking place during Small
Press Month, a nationwide promotion of small and independent
publishers. See www.smallpress.org
of which the Trail Conference is a member.
The Small Press Center is housed in the distinguished, century-old
landmark library and school building of the General Society of
Mechanics & Tradesmen. The public is admitted to the Fair free of
charge and you may purchase publications of many of the presses
including the Trail Conference.
The Small Press Book Fair offers a treasure-trove of unique events.
There will be: readings by selected authors; an exhibit on Edith
Wharton; demonstrations of book arts; a discussion on the First
Amendment and Publishing; and events such as the Publisher's Business
Breakfast, and Poor Richard's Award, this year presented to Bill
Henderson of Pushcart Press.
