Patches

The Trail Conference has a number of ways of recognizing all the good work done by volunteers.

Maintainer Patches

All maintainers, monitors, and crew members are eligible for a maintainer patch after one year of acceptable work. After five years they are eligible for a five year rocker. Ten or more year rockers are in the planning stages. Until recently our database only kept track of when you started on a particular trail section. If you have switched which section of trail you maintain, our records are probably wrong. We now track total number of years in any capacity related to trail maintenance but we need your help in getting our records corrected. We think we know who has gotten patches and rockers in the past, but we suspect that some people got missed and know that many of those with five year patches are entitled to ten or more year patches. Our earliest records are from 1988.
